College football is my passion, plain and simple. Still new to it if you ask me, so bear with me on this thing. Any ideas or comments are welcome. My blogs are normally posted on my myspace, so look me up. GEAUX TIGERS!!

Last weeks picks, all i have to say is I was never sold on Notre Dame, never had them with so much as one number one vote, much less THE number one, and i knew Michigan would expose that.
I picked #1 Ohio State to win by 28, they beat Northern Illinois by 23, 35-12. I bet someone Garrett Wolfe would rack up yards against that young D and he didnt disappoint me, gaining 285 all-purpose.
Folks, ill start off saying I havent been this excited to post my picks and thoughts since the first time I posted them this season. I have the notes, the stats, the hits, the players, and the opinions of many, so lets get this started.
Can we forget last week? You cant win football games with 5 turnovers and a safety. Not playing Charles Scott at tailback was justified knowing he suffered a concussion in practice, but not playing Holliday just to put some speed in the backfield is questionable. Special teams play, which was stressed by Saban more than many know, has been horrible. Why change punt formations after leading the SEC in punting last year? And with all the talent we have, why are our corners and third-fourth string wideouts returning punts?
Week 6 is here. And there are some BIG TIME games coming up this saturday. Four of the SECs top 15 teams square off on each other, the Red River Shootout, and a Pac-10 matchup that is almost interesting.
