State VS State, the rivalries of Week 13 in college football. Damn, its almost over..

So this is how ill do it this week. Top 25 that arent playing rivals, then some good instate rivals, then the SEC. Lets take a look at last week.

Game of the Week: OSU-Michigan didnt disappoint. Lets hope they dont end up playing each other again. As much as i am against USC, im just not interested in seeing michigan try again. Even if they are the second best team, i just cant put them in the national title game, it really isnt fair if they have another shot. I think USC or a one-loss SEC champ deserves the next shot.

Hit of the Week: When Maryland running back Danny Oquendo took an option pitch from his QB, he was hammered by Boston College linebacker Larry Anam. Oquendo fumbled and the ball was picked up by the defense and returned for a touchdown.

Catch of the Week: Anyone see the replay of Early Doucets 42 yard catch from Russell? Easily the highlight catch of the season.

Play of the Week: How about Russell hooking up with Dwayne Bowe for the 22nd passing/recieving touchdown hookup between these two. Not to mention the fact that it tied the game and sent it to overtime.

Heisman Watch: Troy Smith won. Quinn can throw 6 TDS and McFadden can run for 10, this race is over.

Pick of the Week: None i picked were incredible upsets. Lets go with BC over Maryland. i dunno...

Missed Pick: Yea, Michigan lost, but ill go with picking Rutgers over Cincy. Think that was a let-down game? The Scarlet Knights really screwed us LSU fans here folks.

NOW to this week.....

UPSET OF THE WEEK:

You know it, #9 LSU over #6 Arkansas!! Geaux Tigers!

*** Games that could help decide the LSU BCS Bowl picture

Now for the BCS talk. We all want to see the Tigers in the BCS Bowl picture. A win over Arkansas is where to start, but a little help is much appreciated. The key is getting in the Top 8 of the BCS ranking, where you are guaranteed a bid. Here are a few ways we can get help; 1.Two big ones off the bat are Nevada beating Boise St and if that happens, we need Georgia Tech to beat Georgia. 2. Another scenario would be Texas losing to Texas A&M and Oklahoma beating Okla St., sending the Sooners to the Big12 champ game and giving Texas its third loss. 3. If Florida falls to Florida St, then loses to Arkansas, it give them three losses and takes them out of both the BCS Title picture and Any BCS Bowl bid. 4. Rutgers beating West Virginia would send Louisville to the BCS and leave Rutgers with only one loss but too far behind to get an automatic bid. A 11-1 West Virginia team may be more tempting than a 10-2 LSU team. 5. Just looking at the BCS ranking ahead of us, a win this week would put us ahead of Wisconsin, with voters hopefully realizing they cant go to a BCS bowl as only two teams from any conference can go. So Notre Dame, Florida, and West Virginia losses would propel the LSU Tigers into the top 8 and they would recieve an automatic bid.

Lets beat up McFadden this week and keep "The Boot" in Louisiana. Geaux Tigers, Beat Arkansas!! GLENN DORSEY EATS PIG!!!!
