I've been saying for a while now. USA basketball is full of overpaid
egomaniacs who care more about looking good and ESPN highlights than
playing the game the right way. The Europeans once again have shown
that playing with fundamentals and heart will be more gratifying than
showboating. It's sad because the the USA team has more talent than
any other team in the world, but they just don't see what an
opportunity they have to play for our country. I'm not sure what
benefits they receive for playing in the world games, but I'm sure it
doesn't stack up to their ridiculously inflated salaries. It makes me
sick to my stomach to see such talent get all fucked up because they
simply don't care about representing their country unless their wallets
get fat. I'm sure most of you heard already, but check out this
article. Maybe people will start to see what these guys are really
made of and start slimming down their obscene salaries.

Nice job summing up the article. You are absolutely correct about the attitude of pro ball players and that goes for all pro ballers - footballers, baseballers, and American footballers - not just pro basketball players!
