Dear Tony, |
|
| |
I am a recent graduate of Ohio State University (GO BUCKEYES!) and am still trying to get my feet on the ground. With student loan payments, rent, and other things, season tickets and a new-used car are the last things on my mind. But at OSU, I fell in love with tailgating and decided I was going to make a road trip out to Indianapolis to see a Colts game. But I have a problem: Is it legitimate to try to tailgate out of a Geo Metro?
Thanks, Broke Buck(eye) |

Dear Broke,
Tailgating is, has been, and will always be about the experience--but don't count out style. While technically you can tailgate in any vehicle, tailgating in a Metro is like…well, it's like putting ketchup on your steak. You can do it, but there's just something that ain't right about it. If I were you, make friends with someone with an SUV, RV, or some other vehicle with an acronym for a name, and go with him. If that doesn't work go to a golf course, pay for a round of 9 with a cart and drive that. Because honestly, no one want's to hang out with a ketchup steak eater.
Here's to you,
Tony |
